Flint Firefighters work to put out a fire that detroyed a mobile home on lot 75 of American Estates mobile home park in Flint on Wednesday. No one was in the trailer at the time but it was unsure if the owners dog escaped.
Emergency crews work on a child who was hit by a car on W. Dayton Street near N. Chevrolet Avenue about 8 p.m. Thursday. The child was taken to a nearby hospital where the child's condition was not immediately known.
Kristin Wellman, 20, of Flint, sits on her front porch with her cat Sophie, and her dog Roscoe, waiting for customers to pull up to a yard sale she is having to make a little extra money to help with bills and moving expenses. Wellman rents the property and says that it has recently fallen into foreclosure and is being forced to move by her landlord.
